Frequently Asked Questions

Puzzle-Generator can be downloaded and tested for free. A license is required for advanced features and commercial use.

Simply click the appropriate store button above. The Microsoft Store or Mac App Store will open automatically and guide you through the installation. Updates are installed automatically.

The version 1.x license can continue to be used with the old version. However, an upgrade or a new license is required for the new version 2.

Old projects cannot currently be opened directly with the new version. However, word lists can be imported.

Currently available: Classic crosswords, Swedish-style crosswords, Word search puzzles and Alphametics (number puzzles). Additional puzzle types are planned and will follow.

Puzzle-Generator works completely offline. An internet connection is only needed for download, updates and possibly the initial activation. There is no cloud synchronization.

Need the previous version?

Puzzle-Generator 1.x is still available. Your existing license can continue to be used as usual.
